Hi Gurus,

Anyone happens to successfully connected your OXE VMWARE to virtual serial ports.?

The goal is I want to connect a software-based (virtual) MOXA NPORT to the virtual machine and for the ports to show in remote V24 port or V24 ports in system. I would like to replicate V24 printer, and the other V24 applications applicable.

What I achieved so far is to get ttyS0 to get connected via NamedPipeTCP. But ttyS0 doesn't do much other than console connection. Or I can/did redirect eaccct to it.

This could be very handy without the need of physical MOXA box and as many customers are moving to appliance servers / esxi call servers.

Or maybe software based MOXA nport....

I believe that this will be possible by developing specific software. In order to verify if it is worth developing such an application, how much do you think such a solution would be worth.
