NTP MD5 authentication keygen

I am trying to set up OmniSwitch 6860E to point to NTP server using MD5 authentication.
For Omniswitch to use MD5 authentication where the Key files reside in /flash/network/ntp.keys
Correct me if I am wrong, after generated a key file in a Solaris/Unix environment using keygen utility. Do we need to copy the generated key from the Unix machine to /flash/network/ntp.keys (replaced existing ntp.keys file with the new file generated) ?
