all PoE devices on ports are down!

Post by slaskaridis »

Hi
we have 20 access points on the first 20 ports of the switch.
The device was working fine for a few weeks (new installation)
Now, all access points are off, they do not receive power - no LEd.
I visited the site and I see that all PoE ports are off, no LED on the switch. The rest Data ports are working fine, I am able to connect on the switch normally.
I rebooted the switch and all PoE ports came back again.
After 3 days same thing, all poe ports are down.

below I see this: please explain

-> show lanpower slot 1/1

Check the swlog to find out what happened at the time of power loss. From looking at the "show lanpower", it seems like everything is working fine, before and after...

Hi.
I opened a support ticket and this is the solution:

This is a software known issue and it is fixed in the 5.1R02, which is available for download in the portal.

Thanks.

Ηi,
I have the same problem.
I am using the latest version (OS2260-P48 5.1.80.R01 GA) but the problem remains.
I had the same problem in the past but everything was resolved with a simple upgrade.
Any ideas?
