4645 Auto Att timout on no choice

Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me if they know the timer or setting for transferring a caller who does not make a choice in the 4645 Auto Att? At the moment, the system waits 10 seconds and I want to make it a bit shorter.

I'm not sure this is a timer for that :shock: If there is I will be interested to know.

Make sure that when the greeting was recorded they didn't leave a bunch of dead air before hitting # for end of recording.

That's the best I can think of.

Hello:

Sometime ago I asked ALcatel Tech Support for this same timer and they told me this ten second pause is fixed for the 4645 AutoAtendant.

For the other AA ( with leaves and trees) you can manage the timeout.

Thanks very much Chamizo. At least it explains why I could not find the timer :(

Thanks too Torrentula. I was there when they recorded and it was I that whacked the # key when the girl finished speaking so there is not any 'air' recorded.
