Virtual-chassis and layer 3 routing

Hello all,

I'm new at omniswitch and virtual chassis, I'm unable to find confirmation of my assumption :
for 2 switch OS6900 configured in a virtual-chassis, connected via the autovfl ports, if i configure the VC with vlans, ip interfaces, give those interface their own ip and enable forwarding so that everything works, am I right to assume that packets being routed between 2 vlan using the VC ip as default gateway will be routed in whichever physical chassis they are connect to ? aka not going to chassis 1 if both host are physically connected to chassis 2 and in different vlans.

Thanks for your help!

correct. VC means that there is one fabric for routing/forwarding over all chassis within a VC. VC is like a "big" switch over more than one chassis.
