Recover APs without reset after omnivista appliance crashed

Hello
Our omnivista appliance crashed, the filesystem has errors and cannot be recovered. Currently the access points are working on the saved config.
I'm now reinstalling omnivista and am trying to move the APs to the new omnivista appliance. I tried changing the dhcp option 138 to the new OV address but the APs don't show up there after a reboot. The APs are set to a fixed IP. I can still reach the APs web UI but when I try to login I get the error "APUI SWITCH IS DISABLED".
How can I manage these APs on the new OV appliance without having to reset each one?
Thanks in advance
