4645 Languages

Hi,

De technician who installed our PBX with 4645 vms disabled all but one language in the voicemail-system. But I don't know how he did this. Now, we want to make an AA with multiple languages. When I create an AA Entry Menu and apply multiple AA Entry languages, no language is asked when I try it, it just goes to the destignation number. I searched in OmniVista, but didn't found a setting that could be wrong, so I think it's configured on the voicemail-server itself. Is there a command to make this setting? How do I set the default language when users enter there voicemail-box?

Thanks!
Stefan

Hi. The language for each terminal is set from the terminal language. This will work if the system is well configure.
If you need to configure the language: upload the correct files (you can download the VG files for 4645 from BPWS) using VG Transfer Tool. THen under mgr-->application-->Voice mail, choose the language. After that, reboots VM with rstcpl 18 1. Check for incidents to know if the VG were correctly upload.
Regards.

I am configuring a system that will use French voice guides. I have the system guides working great.

I have the latest 4645 vg's downloaded, but there is no French in mulaw. So when 4645 starts, it fails to load because the vgeva.FR0 are alaw.

Can I not do the 4645 in french mulaw? That doesn't make sense that they would provide system guides but not voicemail guides in mulaw.

any ideas?

Thanks.

Do you have additional language license for your 4645?

Yup, license installed and using Canadian French because I cannot find the french guides in mulaw.
