4645, tagging meesages with a data and time

Hi Guys

I've just taken over telephony admin from a colleague. Training hasn't been forthcoming. Thank god for this site.

Does anyone know how we can tag voice mail messages with a date and time? We can listen to the message and press 5 afterwards but it doesn't do it automatically.

Flava...Welcome, ok what software are you running on PCX???I think from Rel 7 there is a setting under the Application/Voicemail/Voicemail COS..but it is only in later releases.

We're running Omnivista 4760.4.2.06.02 client.

I've gone into configuration, applications, voicemail. Under that I have:
4645 COS
4645 Global parameters
4645 Automated attendant
4645 VPIM

Go into COS 0 go to the bottom and if you are runnung the right release there should be an option for automatic envolope read...still would like to know the pcx release would make things very easy

Where do I find the PCX release.

We telnet to the switch
OTUC server
4760/CSC server

Ah, have just opened a telnet session and the ACD Version release is 8.

Try and capture all the stuff you see when you log in via telnet (before the system prompt appears) and then post on here.

When you telnet into the PBX, it will display what release you are using.
Once you are in, you can still do again a "siteid" command..
