Is there a way or prefix to deactivate the message light of an analog or digtal phone when someone leaves a voice mail to that extension?

If the user does not want to know if they have any messages then why bother having a voicemail box?

In the users class of service, I know there is a field labeled "Switch off message LED". Its under the PCX services in the COS

the user can choose not to have Msg waiting light if you allow them outcall control in 4635.
