One number for two sites? Tandem?

Hi There

We have 2 OXE's - one at each site. The sites are connected via a data link (10MB IP VPN). We have users that have a desk at both sites. Curently they have a diffenrent number at each site. How can we use a feature such as Tandem to allow the users to have one phone number that can be used for both sites?

I have setup the tandem feature for two handsets at one site and it worked great. However, I cant get it to work between sites.

I'm currently using set/voicemail supervision which works ok (sometimes) but it would be great if the users could simply have one number or take their number with them for both sites (OXE's).

Any Ideas

You have two possibilities by my knowledge (both require license): remote extension (mobility user) or free sitting (I think this one works only for ABC networks - anybody correct me if I'm wrong).

Using external application I think you could use CSTA for forking the call (also need CSTA license).

Regards.

Network hunt group (but you can manage parallel search only if sets not multiline).
