OXO HOLD CONNECTION ISSUE
Posted: 05 Aug 2008 17:50
I Have just upgraded a rel 2 site to rel 7 no problem.
The customer transfers the calls in this way.
Receive call from outside caller
Place the call on hold
Dial the internal user and connect and tell them they have a call on hold - this allows them time to prepare, if required, to receive the call
They then press the held call via the physical address key on their handset
No problem
The issue the customer now has since the upgrade;
Receive call from outside caller
Place the call on hold
Dial the internal user and connect and tell them they have a call on hold - this allows them time to prepare, if required, to receive the call
They then press the held call via the physical address line key on their handset
BUT if they called extension tries to pick the call up from the physical address key before the operator hangs up- one way speech occurs.
If the receiving call quickly puts the call on hold then retreives it two way speech is achived.
This happens every time.
Handsets being used are premium reflex.
I have told them to press the transfer key, but its not how they want to work the phones and they never had an issue with rel 2.
I thought there may be a connection timer to be adjusted ?
Any help ?
