4097 CBL Adaptor

I have a 4097 CBL adaptor in stock and cant remember how to program it.

I have connceted it to a 4020 handset powered up and run GAP registration, i thought i would see the device be recognised then i could apply and extension number.

Or is does it only work in a Radio base station enviroment ?

Does anyone have any instructions on the installtion of this device ?

Also wondering if this would work on a OXO system ?
