OXO - One way audio

Strange issue I have...OXO release 6.1.

I'm not using ARS, just end of dialing table, but I don't know if that's the problem.

When the customer dials 0 (in the US we dial 0 for the PSTN operator) they get one way audio, they can hear the operator but the operator cannot hear them.

This also happens when they dial 411 (directory information).

All other calls work fine. Tested on trunk with butt set just to verify and it works fine.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Are the lines being used ISDN or PSTN?

If PSTN then you need to change the timers in Analogue protocols for closed numbering as they are there to stop people from Phreaking using an O/G line.

Have a look in External lines/protocols/analogue trunks (modify)/timers part 1 - "Off-Hook Simul closed Numbers" should be 8000ms so 8 seconds which would mean that the other end would get no speech until the end of that times.

Should be fine to drop this to 2000 or even 1000 if you are feeling brave :D

Sorry, I forgot to specify they are analog trunks. I assume you mean analog by PSTN.

I will check this setting and give it a try. Thanks for the reply Krusty.

I have changed this setting to 1000 and am still getting one way audio.

Any other thoughts on what could be causing this? I thought this would definitely be it, but no go.

Thanks.
