Hi guys,

i have an customer with an VPU5 which isn't getting in service any more. If i try to boot up the VPU i can see the message
Jan 1 01:29:32 VPx35 crysd[253]: open /dev/ocb2: No such device
appearing every few seconds on my terminal.

I created a new harddisk with latest software release, but the message stay's the same. Is this VPU5 defective?

The system was rebooting for unknown reason every few days/weeks. I changed the voicehubs, cpu6 harddisk, cpu memory and software release - since the card is down there are no more reboots. For me it looks like an defective VPU5 - do you agree?

Thanks, Mario

ok, just got another VPU5 back - system is coming up again (old disk/old release). If you have this message, so your VPU5 is ready for replace. I'll make now an upgrade to newest release and try to restore all the data. I'll see, what's happen...

Bad-bad news! I've got the same situation! Disc replacement and soft replacement had no effects.
Damn!
