4018 & 4008 reseting

I have just added 10 new licences to a rel 7.0 oxe system and created 10 new ip users.
The handsets boot up fine and are allocated an ip address via the oxe dhcp server. They stay up for approx 1 min then reset again. I have other handsets on site ie 4038 and have no problem. I noticed when i installed the handsets that the software download did not occur and on v24 terminal the mac address of the handset appeared with a error stating "file could not be found". Is there a way to force the handset to upload the software im guessing that is the problem ?

my guess is that your new phones are the new 'ee' version (Extended Edition). It will say underneath the phone. If so, you have 2 choices;

1. Patch up the system to a patch that supports the new phone
2. Edit the new users (drill down in hierarchy) till you get to 'TSC-IP user' and in there, disable the update option (true/false option right at the bottom)
