Hi,
I want to send an SMS alert to my mobile whenever a new voicemail is left on my office phone. I have an account with an SMS gateway and can send an SMS by sending an email to the gateway. Can this be configured in OXE 8.0?

Not sure, but you can use IMAP feature: a mail is presented on an e-mail account with the voice mail you received in .wav format. Maybe you can use a script or smth that when this mail is received another is released for your SMS gateway.

ALU has sold solution for that, but well, it was a looong time ago, it consisted of external PC + nokia 6210.

I suggest to move for SIP based VM (with asterisk for example) and do notification by SMS(mms with wave attachment :p) /integration with email,www there etc..
