Multi Site Subscriber/Speed Dial Data Replication

I've done quite a bit of searching and can't seem to find any specifics on this one so here's hoping it's a first time question.

Our company has 5 sites, with an OXO at each one. We have IP connectivity between each site and VOIP traffic is working fine between sites.

We've been trying to find a simple way to manage numbers on each site, but ultimately treating all 5 as slaves of our main site in terms of subscriber/speed dial lists. For example, let's say site 1 has an internal extension range of 10xx and site 2 is 11xx. If I have John Smith mapped to 1001, I want that change to replicate to the second site, without my having to log on and manually change it at the second site.

The reason for this is the large number of extensions and speed dials we have, along with the number of changes in a given month that we have to keep up with. It would be very handy to be able to maintain one location and then automatically update the rest of the sites.

We have a Microsoft Active Directory we can manage numbers from, or an LDAP server is another possibility. We'd also be happy with any feature on the OXO itself that would allow this.

Does anyone have any ideas about this one?

I'm happy to provide further details if I'm missing anything.

Thanks in advance,

Michael

What you are requesting is basic networking feature which Alcatel has no intention to implement in OXO. OXO is intended for companies with only one site or with small remote sites. For everything else and if you want to have a true centralized management with brodcast of the changes on the network you have the OXE.

Regards.

I suppose, that, what you want - Multi Site feature of OMC and OXO. (In OMC on the Welcome screen choose Multi Site View). But this must be done, when you have installed first site. Migration whole network to Multi Site feature is complicated task, and must be done by knowing people, because it is very simple to completly destroy the management of the every site. First, talk to your installer about this feature, without taking any dangerous actions. And, of course, make backup of every site to your computer before any operation.
