Hey guys wazzup!!! I need your on site and long gone experiences regarding battery testing on our Alcatel 4400/OXE/OXO/etc system.

OK I want to unplugged the main power and run my PABX on batteries.

How long will it take for a 100AH batteries to make the system up?
What is the nominal voltage until my PABX and Rectifier goes off??
How can I calculate the time that my batteries can last???

the power consumption of the system depends upon the configuration of the system, and also type of boards used. each type of board has different power consumption. the details are available in the hardware details of the system for each type of board and the type of shelf.
also the battery backup depends upon the condition of the battery (the older the battery will support less power backup to the system).

I'm aware of that but what I need to know is what is the minimum voltage that the system can run onto. For example, I run the system on batteries. The initial voltage of the batteries on my multimeter just after unplugging it to power source is 54 volts. And after an hour it goes down to let say 50. I know that the system will still run even if it reaches 48 volts, but if the batteries goes down to 45 or 40, will the system be up still?

The operating voltage must be between 45 V and 57 V. You can find this information in installation document power section.

For OXE with external power:
when system run from main power - voltage (on power supply) 54,4 V.
when you switch off main power - voltage will quickly drop about 51 V and after slow drop.
PBX (via PSAL unit) will be stopped when voltage will be 46 V.
About duration for operation from battery - if PBX consumption f.e. 10A and battery 100 Ah - you will have approximately 8 h. But only if battery good - you need to have good temperature (not more 25 degrees centigrade) and periodically train your battery.

On 16 OXE sites, after client's requirement, I have changed, obviously after conslutation from Alcatel, one resister on PSAL board, and after that the minimum voltage to keep OXE system working has dropped to 41 volt DC. After that, if voltage drops further, the PSAL alarm is generated.

@AJESH. Can you show/give me the diagram which resistor did you replaced in the PSAL module.
