Auto DTMF is normally set in the trunkgroup :

in MGR: Trunk Group > Auto DTMF dialing on outgoing call

Although this is for external conversations. Any reason why you want to use it for internal calls also ? Calling to a voicemail number wil also activate DTMF.

presently i have to program a feature key DTMF end to end to open the door.it is troublesome

Note: The DTMF Prefix only works on trunks, will not work for extensions.

How is the Door release mechanism connected? Trunk/Extension?

If it is analog extension put VSI Transparency=True.
