Re: Baby listening feature
I think this is possible only with digital sets.
A workaround would be to use parallel analog sets with hands free function and simply unhook 2 of them.

Re: Baby listening feature
I think this is terminal (analog phone) feature - when you call this phone (like answering machine) you have automatic answer and via DTMF code activate "listening".

Re: Baby listening feature
1. how do you activate auto answer on a ananlogue phone ?
i thought this was only a feature on digital handsets.
2. what code do you use for listening ? if you get through ?
thanks

Re: Baby listening feature
I say about phones f.e. like Panasonic KX-TCM438 (answering machine) - you programm access code, select auto answer mode - and can call to this phone, after answer enter code and feature prefix (f.e. for this phone - dial 6 and 30 sec you can listen).
Re: Baby listening feature
Some old system I worked on had the feature called baby monitor on analogue sets. What you did was take phone off hook and dial a prefix. When you wanted to check on the room you dialled the phone extn number and were put into a call so you could hear what was going on in the room. Not sure if possible with the OXO but maybe you could experiment with meet me conference? Lift handset start the conference then from another phone join the conference. That my do what you want. give it a go maybe.
