IP handsets are rebooting

Post by tomy.alu »

Dear all,
I have a problem in IP handsets installation; please have a look below my details.
I have been installing 4018 IP handsets in OXE with the release of Rel : 6.1.1. My handsets are coming to in-service, But the IP hand sets are rebooting frequently.
While booting the handsets I can see an error that 
"getting load: Failed"
"getting data: Failed"
R6.1.1-f2.502-5-et-c6s2
Business identification: R6.1.1
DELIVERY: f2.502
Static patch: 5
Dynamic patch identification: none
CPU: c6s2

Please help me out if anyone about this issue.

With regards
Tomy

Hi. First of all, try to post under the correct index. I moved you topic to this index.
Second: your release is somehow old and perhaps those type of phone set are not supported. So, check hardware compatibility. Maybe you will need to install the last patch.
Regards.

hi

i know this behavior from Relaese 7 with 40x8 Extended Edition. I had installed the newest patch so it works fine. may you must install the newest patch. Otherwise disallow "Reset for update":False under TCP/IP User , so the 40x8 wokrs with the wrong binary. I doesent know if there disadvanteg.
