Hi,
I installed an Appliance (r8.0.1, g1.503.17b), it run ok but I can't restore my client database, it look like to me the disk is full (the inactive partition seem good)...
Does anyone have some suggestion?

/DHS3dyn/afe/F_WALLDISP
/etc/TunParams.mao

gunzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--format violated
cpio: premature end of file

ERROR: Restoration failed

ERROR: a problem occured during data restoration
Press return

It looks like your backup is corrupt, not a partition problem.

I redone the backup item by item, and it is the same.
It did not explain either the fact that root, usr2 and 3 are full after a clean install...

Check that the backup file was transferred in binary mode with ftp client.
The archive is corrupted, bas transfer is the reason in many situation.

intheskin :

Did you let vmware chose the size of the HD or did you manually changed to 20 or more Gb ?

Frank, I actually reduce the size to 6 Go... (instead of 8, I tried previously)! This should explain the heavy occupation of the disc.

I done correctly the saving in binary mode, and it work fine! I booted a media gateway on it and try IPphone and trunks, it work ok!

Thank you for your help!
