Calling auto attendant internally

Hi all,
IS it possible to call an auto attendant internally? I know that the proper answer is "no" but it seems a shame, for a department like IT where a call could be directed better, not to be able to use this feature for internal callers.
I know you could set up a speed dial to re-dial externally but obviously this would cost.
Thanks for any help

Yeah you can: loop 2 T1's. That's the only solution I know.

Is that particularly difficult to do ... how would I go about doing such a thing?
Thanks

Well.. a DPT1 have 2 T1s, create a prefix to go to one, and turn on the AA on the 2nd one. Just loop them with a X over box, and that should be it !

I didn´t try it for internal calls on AA but for CCD: Like it´s in the documetation I added a local hybrid-link which makes internal calls possible to pilots. I think in release 3 it was mandatory to loop T0s or T2s. If you don´t have too many calls on the AA internally some T0-loops might be OK.

Hi Alex,
Hybrid link is requiered if you want to call the CDD from inside.
If you want to call the Automated Attendant from a voicemail, it's OK without anything. If you want to call the Integrated Automated Attendant, then you need a T1 loop

We once used intergrated AA on the 4635 voicemail for internal callers, but it´s confusing cos the caller´s set displays the name of the voicemail and so many hang up then unless it is communicated throughout the company...
