Hello,

I´m having trouble installing Omnitouch 8450 v6.0.1.25 in RedHat 5 Update 3.
The install goes well, but in the end, when it is starting services, it gives me an error message about starting services.

All services started well, but Tomcat. I started it manually and everything seems ok.

But in the FaxAdmin Web Service, in the first screen, I receive the following message:

General Information
An unexpected error has occurred
Please report this error to your system administrator or appropriate technical support personnel.
Error Message
com.interstar.xm.webadmin.dao.corba.CorbaException: org.omg.CosTrading.UnknownServiceType: IDL:omg.org/CosTrading/UnknownServiceType:1.0

Almost all screens that I choose I receive the same error message.

Can anyone help?

I faced the similar problem with the fax server.

Its due to the reason that the services takes time to get started.

If this happen please check the services whether they are started or not automatically.

If they are getting started automatically...then wait and login again.

hi,

I got a similar problem with the fas server and my problem was that the sql deamon was not running . after deinstallation of the fax server software, reinstall sql manually and then the fax server setup again it works

sry i forgot something the problem of the sql deamon was the SELinux was aktive
