Headset + handset

Hello,
I have an alcatel 4400 and a gn8000 for the headset
do you know how can i receive the call on the handset and in the sametime on the headset?
I would like to hear the conversation on the 2 channels in the same time?

To spy yes, it's called intrusion.

If you use a double cable (sometimes called "Y"-adapter) it is likely that your microphone gain is attenuated, so it is not recommended to leave both connected. This is for normal UA-sets.
We had a customer with 4059 consoles the connected both to have some trainings with new personnel. 4059/4049 keyboards have two headphone jacks. I can´t tell how these ones behave about the microphone gain.
For spy in you can use the intrusion feature. With CCD you can use the feature "supervisor listen in" where you can disable the tone that the agent hears when you are listening but beware, this might be illegal!
Another trick for UA-sets is the REC8-board. It has 8 inputs and 8 outputs. The input in connected parallel on the UA-line on the output you can connect a recorder, headphone or anything else. It was used for old voice-recorders.
