Hello All,
We are facing an issue in DECT 300 sets that when a call on any analog external line is transferred on it the user listens echo. There is no issue when user makes/receives an internal call or when he makes/receives call on a ISDN lines. The issue is only with Analog external lines.
Help desired.
regards,
Lalit

Hi Lalit,
What you need to do is go to "System Miscellaneous/Memory read-write" in pm5. Select 'other labels' and search for GapGainTab.
Click details and then change the fourth and sixth bytes on the top line.
Default should be 00 06 00 06 03 06 00 06, the fourth and sixth bytes are 06.
Setting the bytes to 03 is +3dB
02 is +2dB
01 is +1dB
00 is 0dB
Most sites using the 00 has stopped the echo. Levels can be changed from 1c(-12dB) to 0C(+12dB). Once you have made the change, click "modify" then "write". Also, search for the label EchoSupTa1, click on details. Highlight the second line and change the 7th byte to 01. Click modify to change the line in the lower window. Highlight the third line in the lower window and change the sixth byte to 01. Click modify to change the contents in the lower window. Click write. You will need to do a warm reset after changing this.
