Hello

I would like to buy some backend infrastructure which will accomodate the IP PBX and phone sets. The majority of the phone sets will be Alcatel IP Touch 4038, 4068 used in conjuction with an OXE enterprise 6.1.

Major criterias that I will use for buying these switches are:

1. High Availability (if one switch fails then the second one takes over)
2. PoE
3. QoS
4. VLAN
5. Would be nice to have some sort of ACL i.e. allow/block certain MAC addresses, or even control multicast and broadcast traffic eceterera.

If someone has any recomendation please feel free to share it with me

Thanks Niko

You can get an OXE with dual CPUS for redundancy.
You will have QoS, VLAN, I guess PoE, and you can set the IP security to deny some mac addresses.. Or better, force a mac address for an extension.
