OXOsystem run on VMWare

Post by supermaster »

Does anyone know is it possible and how can we install the OXO software running on VMware?

I tried once but it seems it cannot find the client IP address.

Thanks for your advices.

Best regards,
Supermaster.

Why? It is Linux also. Is it because of the bootup BIOS difference?

OXE is working fine. Other applications are working too. Microsoft Windows can be done as well.

It will be interesting to know if it is also possible for OXO?

On OXE you can because we have access to the linux and can do some minor modifications in order to make it work, however on OXO not, the system is very closed.

yes. cavagnaro is right. but the more problem is that minor modifications won't work here. one main problem is that linux is compiled for elan processor. you'll need to recompile the source code for i386-systems (and someone who gives the sourcecode for this to you)... so it's just impossible!

ECS (Extended Communication Server) is the new name of the Eye Box.
This system is part of the OXO ACSE R6.

The ECS provides collaboration, unified communicaion, and mobility with OXO...
