unable to create voice mail directory number

Hi
I m facing a problem creating the voice mail directory number.Whenever i try tocreate a directory number,i am getting the message "invalid directory number".Please let me know what to do.I am using OXE release 6.1 with 4635 full package.

You have to give more information about your conf.
This can happen because of many things...

Did you check whether you don't have this number already in the numbering plan? This is the most common reason for not being able to create numbers (voice mail no, user etc.)
