v24 metering output

Having trouble getting metering infomation from system.

Have activated metering in applications, selected v24, selected relevant filters and used port 2 for the output.

Changed the v24 port to login to check if port was working ok. When i changed it back to none, no output available.
In older levels of software you could "kick start" the port using ttyconf, can this still be done ?
Again in oldere releases i had to reset system to get port to work.

- What system OXO or OXE ?
- Software version of the system ?
- If OXE v24 through IP ? or usual interface ?
- What serial interface type did you define ?

Sorry, system is a OXE release 8,Via port V24 Port.

I actually reset the system and changed the port application to other application and it started to work.

Is there a way of reseting v24 port without reseting system ?
