trunk group barring

Post by penny »

in oxe r6.1, f2500,6,i the public network class of service it is showing 64 class of services. but i could not able to use more than 32 cos. when try to open above 32 i am getting illegal integer vaule.
the reason why i am asking is i want to give trunk group barring based on public network class of service. if system restricted for public network cos 32 and the trunk groups more than 32, what is the alternative to restrict trunk barring. each user dedicate to their own trunk group, in this case how to plan for barring trunk groups?

You have 32 access category (public network cat from user point of view),
inside each access category you have 64 public access category - linked with numbering area in discriminator rules.

vad is absolutely correct!

In fact, 64 are the areas those can be accessed within a public network cat.
public network cats. themselves can only go upto 32 (0-31) in number.
