Call by name on 8 & 9 Series release 8

Hi crew,

system is rel 8 g1.302.5

Does any one notice that when you use CBN on 8 & 9 series that it displays pilot name and phonebook entries that are set to 'Can not be called by name?'

Yes, but I thougt it was for LDAP or A4980/OTUC only and was solved in the meantime?

What do you mean it was for LDAP etc??

When you perform the search using 4020/4035T then the names that are not to be displayed do not show up, but they do on the 8&9 serie.

Do you know if it has been fixed in a later patch EG. g1.302.7?

I can't remember.
You could try patch 6.e or wait for Patch 8 annnounced for Jan 2008

Can you confirm that you experience the same problem as me in patch 5 and now in 6e it is behaving correctly.

Why certainly. I just upgraded my demo switch from 5 to 6e last night. I need to reboot on the inactive partition to test on 5. I'll let you know.

Maybe specific to phone types? I am testing with 4068, what about you?

I don't know man, I tested with all 9 series and they work fine too. Didn't think it would matter, but hey, you never know...
