Correct numbering for subscribers on the OxO

Hi,
I'm trying to get a definitive answer on the correct way to number (in this case subscribers) on the OxO by default the system will set up with (these are all Start - End - Base) 100 - 199 - 100, 200 - 299 - 200 & 300 - 399 - 300 for a 3 digit numbering plan and 1000 - 1299 -1000 for a 4 digit.

Now as I read the documentation if you wish to have users say in the 7xx or 7xxx range you should change the internal numbering plan to 700 - 799 - 700 or 7000 - 7099 - 7000.

Am I wrong? I have seen documentation which specifically states this (trying to find it again ) and it shows it in the 6.1 tech docs but says it is for a feature 'local call' which does not appear in the internal/public/restricted or private numbering plans so I assumed that this was a typo for subscriber/user

hints/suggestions/flames all gratefully accepted as I can't get a straight answer out of AL Tech support

have been looking for the local call to.
The 7000 7999 7000 seems the correct one because its looks to me the local call is not in the numbering plan.
The expert manual is also not clear on this.

there is no right or wrong way to program the internal numbering plan and speed dials. just remember that subscribers must have the same base and start number, and speed dials whatever you want in the start and end column (i like to *prefix) just make sure they are base 0.

You can do them to different bases but this can cause big problems if programmed from scratch using mismatching base and start columns.
