How many people can I conference togther...

from a 4035 set with multiple appearances of my own line?

I thought I could conference togther as many people as I have multi line appearances for. In other words keep putting people on hold and then hit the conference button to bring everyone together.

I have tried it but it does not seem to work, am I missing a parameter somewhere?

Is this possible without using the 29 party conference feature?

That's called casual conference, it is a separate license.

so I am limited to a 3 way call without that license or without using 29 party conference?

You have 3 way conference from the phone,
Then you have the add-on conference , up to 6 people , -license-
Then you have the 29 party conference -license-

Take into account that most of the time you will need extra hardware (DSP), specially for common hardware. Regards.

The user is looking to make outbound calls (possible up to 10) and then conference everyone together.

They are unwilling to use the 29 party conference we already have, because "It is not convinent for our people to have to make a call to get into a conference." Yeah like that is really hard?!?!

They bascially want to use the phone to appease some jerky lawyers and judges who want a conference but want it to be established the way they want it, not the way our system is able to

I told the user you can't do it with buying some added software and perhaps software. Would you believe that they think our department should pay for whatever they need to make it happen. I laughed and told that is not going to happen...

You may sell them Teamwork and create an operator there who will call them and transfer to the right room. It is really cool feature.

On automatic add-on conference you just need to configure the lists with the persons and they will be automaticaly be called and inserted in conference. Moreover you can use the old 4740i or 4760 setup to show only the lists and your customer can configure them.
this is the cheapest way to have a configurable automatic conference.

where can I find the setting for automatic add on conference.

Do the numbers for the user you wish to conference always have to be the same and in that list?

In the Sys DOC (User Services--->Mastered Conference--->Automatic Add-on conference)
Be aware that there is a lock for this.
