Port configuration

I need to modify the port config on the 4760 server with PM5 due to customer requirements. I have been through the doc and it says that from Oxo release> 3.0, ports (FTP) are passive on ranges: 30150 to
30299. Also in the Directory, System etc, these ports are defined correctly. Yet when we ran a sniffer we were getting requests on FTP ranges 1024 to 5000??!!! Anyone managed to modify these ports? Thanks.
