MADA BOARDS

Im setting up a lab kit oxe and have loaded a cs with new sw. I have loaded a GD with new binraryf fine.

The question will the GD talk to the CS without a MADA board ?

I was under the impression the MADA boards was for additonal compressions.

Yes, the GD can work OK and talk with the CS without the MADA board.

The MADA board is for compresing and decompresing VoIP packets.

If you don´t have VoIP implemented on that system, you dont need the MADA board.

Ah true but if you have 4645 on the CS you will need a MADA board....
