Re: manually setting ip-address etc. on mobile iptouch 600
Try this
• Close phone
• Press Red and green button and relese green button when it starts.
• You move up and down with the volyme button on the side.
• Under "Phone config" / "Licence option" you choose 015 (for connection to Alcatel PBX?).
• Under "Network config" / " IP adress" you choose Use DHCP eller Static.
o (If you choose DHCP so is there no more to set I think, just press UP)
o If you choose Static so must you set the other parameters too.
• Under "Network config" / " ESSID" so enters you the name of the network as Static Entry, NB the name is "Case sensitive".
• Under "Network config" / " Security" choose "WEP",
• Under "Network config" / " Security" / "WEP/ WEP On/Off " choose WEP On
• Under "Network config" / " Security" / "WEP/ Key Information/Key Length" so choose 128-bit
• Under "Network config" / " Security" / "WEP/ Key Information/Key #1" so enters you the password, go to next pos with >. Dont forget to save.
And most importent of all, you got to be very very fast when you program the handset, if you hesitate you got to do it again form the begining.
This is my lazydog for one costumer, you might use other setting at yours.
Good luck
Peter
