Hi guys,
I'm installing this on a customer PC. I can see that OXE receives the CSTA connection from the PC. On OTS_Manager I configured the link as CSTA 2. However I can't see that the dyn folder creates any extension or populate any info from the OXE.
Everytime I launch OTS_Manager I get the default configuration again and again...
Any ideas...??

Re: Alcatel TSAPI Premium Server
Got the same problem with latest TSAPI server. I thought I didn't read the documentation well enough. I hope tomorrow I'll have time to deal with this properly. Maybe a connection problem (using OTS Maintenance tool although the link seems to be up I cannot read any CSTA objects from OXE , even if forced ---> I declared several extensions and trunk groups as CSTA monitored or TSApi server on).cavagnaro wrote:Hi guys,

Also Cstatst32.exe doesn't connect.
(Alcatel Open Telephony Server service is running)

Hey Tot,
I do have exact same issues...I don't know what else I can try. Is this maybe a release issue? Any other with this problems?

Don't know. I'll try another release and see how it goes.

Re: Alcatel TSAPI Premium Server
Ok. Got one hour for this today. Figured the following:
-uninstalled 6.3.1, and installed 6.2.2 ---> same problem with OCS manager (on and on first configuration) - so I don't think there is a release problem ---> maybe OS problem? (WinXP SP2 here - not recommended in doc --> but ok when installed)
however got:
25/06/08 13:02:12 000001M|---/--/-/---|=4:4017=CSTA server : new crea
tion 1 192.168.0.34
from OXE (OXE IP 192.168.0.101, OCS server IP = my laptop = 192.168.0.34 )
-got Cstatst32.exe working editing Alccsta.cfg with the following line:
192.168.0.101 192.168.0.34 3595
login and password of the OCS Manager
-(didn't have the chance to monitor digital or analog extensions - no MG arround at the site I was in - used VmWare on my laptop R8.0.1) but seen with Snapshot Device the Out of service of a digital an analog extension
That's all but it seems to be working.
I'll try to continue with this when I got time.
Regards.

Re: Alcatel TSAPI Premium Server
Which user I need to use for server connecting inside of CSTATST32.EXE application?
I mean inside of window CONNECT SERVER I need to enter Server name, Login name, Password, API level.

API level is the one configured with the OCS manager when you declared your OXE node and your OCS server node and level of service (CSTA V1 or CSTA V2)OXE_4400 wrote:I mean inside of window CONNECT SERVER I need to enter Server name, Login name, Password, API level.
You need to configure Alccsta.cfg in order to declare name of the server with the following line:
OXE_IP OCSserver_IP 3595
3595 is the port of the service on OCS server (can be changed in configuration).

Re: Alcatel TSAPI Premium Server
You dont need to fill in user and password !
only the Servername:"ALCATEL#tsapilink#CSTA#localhost"
thats it ( the name "tsapilink" depents on your configuration;-) greets

Re: Alcatel TSAPI Premium Server
Is there a way to have 2 tsapi servers with 2 OTS?
Need some High Availability option...
The TSAPI server document shows many OTS servers but well it shows only one (orange) link to crystal pbx.
