Hi there,

I need help in solving our spanning-tree problem here in our office. We have 6 (six) stackeable switches configured with redundant links going to (2) two 7700s Core switches. Everytime i enabled the second link on our 6850 stackables, the Lost frames numbers keep increasing. The configuration is exactly the same as the other switches that don't have any issues at all.

Can you post the relevant configurations for the 6850 and 7700s?

What is the exact issue - do you only see the TX lost frame counter increasing or do you have a real network impact?

There was a bug in older 6.3.1.R01 where the symptom was that the TX lost frame counter increased continuously due to STP packets on blocked ports.

This issue was fixed in AOS 6.3.1.975.R01 which is available on the BPWS.
