FWD1 , FWD2 features on 4035

Post by @Patty@ »

I test FWD1 , FWD2 features on 4035

extension press "0" (Attn group call) call to 4035 ---> the called route to FWD1 or FWD2 number as setting.

but for external incoming call (both DID or NDDI routing), the calls still arrive at 4035. never go to FWD1 or FWD2 number.

Is it possible that the external incoming route to FWD1 number or FWD2 number?

Why use forward on an attendant? I don't think that is possible.

Sometime , operator have some meeting or take care their clients.
If they turn off 4035 (night mode), call will route to AA " The office already closed ,please call again tomorrow".
So, I thought that they can use FWD1,FWD2 in each case.

all done, if internal call (extension call to 4035), the call route to FWD1 , FWD2 number.

Only external incoming is not working!!!!.

I have found issues with this before using the attendant CDT
Create and entity and entity call and set the attendant group manager to the Group ID you are using and try it

I have found that if you are going external for a FWD1/2 for an attendant CDT it doesnt work but it will work if you use an entity

In Entity CDT & Attendant Grp CDT & even Attendant CDT - there are 4 table states: Night, Day, FWD1 & FWD2.

The OP is not trying to divert attendant - but trying to invoke one of the CDT routing states.

Just go & play with your Genesys & leave the big machines to us grown up folk :wink:

Ba! lol, I know them by MODE 1 and MODE 2...lol
So I know big machines, OXE and Genesys, and I'd like to see you with a Genesys, bigger than OXE :lol:

Lets use mgr -l GEA :D

Thanks for all.

I try in lab, but still not working.

this is my setting
A100 = attn group id 1, A100 has only 1 attn set (it is AT1).
AT1 = attn id 0, in attn group id 1
1120,1003 = normal extension

Entities routing table
Day = AT1 ;AT1 = Attn id 0
Night = 1120 ;1120 = extension
Mode 1 = 1003 ;1003 = extension

Attn id 0 call dist
Day = AT1 ;AT1 = Attn id 0
Night = 1120 ; 1120 = extension
Mode 1 = 1003 ; 1003 = extension

Attn Group id 1 call dist
Day = AT1 ; AT1 = Attn id 0
Night = 1120 ; 1120 = extension
Mode 1 = 1003 ; 1003 = extension

The external calls are distributed to att group or to entity?
