Hello comrades!
New to Alcatel - need to know is there somewhere some book/brochure with a detailed description/explanation of given part number.
Sometimes the ACTIS description is not enough.
Regards,
Pavel.

Re: Part Number descripion ?
By free you mean that you only pay for airplane to France/Austria, Hotel and beer
Rest is free?
But to be honest:
there are some trainings in Alcatel's HQ which require only subscription/ reservation first, and one thing that BP pays is fee for transport/accommodation (but you could choose whatever hotel you like, so it could be small-cost hotel). The free trainings are most often made by ALU when a new product is brought to the market. There are not very in-depth, but yes you could go for new product first training session for free.
In my country there is ALU representative (not a BP nor a Master Distrib) and this company sometimes organize trainings for sales & logistic guys, it's most of the times free or costs like <100 Euros per day.
What part number description is not clear enough? As for most part No. you could find a picture with google

Re: Part Number descripion ?
This is Licese.
This allows some CSTA communication.
This is not 'part' as such, but a License, enabling some functionality of Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise Switch.
It's connected to CPU-IDs of your PABX, it can't be easily moved from one PABX to another one.
As licenses, some times you need them, sometimes you don't.
If ACTIS quotes this license, believe me, that you need this!
If you search for better description, i think that some serious PRE-Sale training is needed.
