Re: Voice logger solution for OXO
That isn't a real voice logger!
There is a feature for the Voice Mail users:
You need hard disk, and the "Distribution lists and record on line features software license"
The user can press a key (feature key/Voice mail Conversation recording) and record the conversation on their Voice mail box. Don't forget the user right in the Subscriber/details/Mailbox/Options)
If he/she uses PimPhony, they can save it to the PC, or the system sends it automatically to an e-mail address.
(BUT the recording isn't start automatically. So an external Voice logger on the ISDN line is better.)

Re: Voice logger solution for OXO
Ah, so it is like recording to imap on OXE.
BTW: not sent to an email, but "moved to MAPI-Compilant application inbox" if you want to be precise. (difference is MAPI requires windows
, and works OK with outlook, and gives trouble with netscape et al.).
Shame, that this feature is not automatized and being sold as "simple voice logger solution" it would be super presales&marketing argument.

Re: Voice logger solution for OXO
Yes, the main problem is the recording which isn't automatized.
But this isn't same solution like IMAP on OXE, because the OXO sends the Voice mail automatically to an SMTP server.
So you can use any e-mail client (eg. free web mail like google mail).

Re: Voice logger solution for OXO
We should have call recording enabled on our OXO but when I try to enable it in a phone call, it displays "Record rejected".
I've set the Mailboxes up on the phones with "Recording of Conversations allowed" enabled but still no success.
Am I missing something?
I've just found that under Software Key Features -> Call facilities, "Record online" is Disabled. Did our supplier rip us?
