PRA Ports Block Issue
Hi All,
I am facing an issue of E1 Channels getting blocked.
The channels though free when viewed, by using trkstat command, are shown as blocked at the service provider end.
We can visualize the same like for first call channel 1 gets occupied for second call second channel gets occupied and so on.
Ideally If the first channel gets free the next call should occupy first channel but in this issue say if first 10 channels are blocked the call always occupies the 11th channel and further.
Ideal scenario works fine for two three days and then again service provider complains of channels being blocked which are only released when we punch the same circuit on a PRA tester.
Is it related to synchronization, just a hunch.
Thanx in advance for sparing time for this.
regards

Re: PRA Ports Block Issue
Yes, synchronization could be a major issue.
Check with command infocs if you have any T2 synchronized with the PSTN. If not then managed the synchronization. As soon as you do it, the problem should be fixed

Re: PRA Ports Block Issue
Hello,
The issue is still persisting. The scenario at site is as follows:
There are three E1s working at site. Managed their synchnization as 10, 11 and 12.
The call flow works fine for 2-3 weeks then service provider complains of channels blocking.
Kindly suggest.

Lalit

What does listerm on this coupler shows?
Which protocol? ISDN all countries?
For which side is B channel choice set?
Incidents in incvisu like "public gives com on busy B channel"?

Re: PRA Ports Block Issue
I know its Crystal hardware, Lalit try with the sync. priority for these ISDN boards, also issue was fixed earlier by changing the country protocol as "ISDN FRANCE".

Re: PRA Ports Block Issue
Hi All,
It's Crystal hardware
All E1s in question are working with protocol ISDN france.
B channel choice is set to NO
listerm is showing all terminals in service
No such incident is observed ---"public gives com on busy B channel"
