Post by fdurante »

When connecting on CS Main, is it exist a command to switch connection on CS Std-by without reboot of CS main --> case of "bascul" command ?

It could be very useful for to restore mao with automatic script !

Thank you in advance for your answer !

You can use linux tools. For example you can deny network traffic from main via its firewall. You can edit routing table.
But IMHO it is not help you. To my mind, when you are going to restore mao via swinst you hаve to stop TEL. To stop TEL you have to reboot...

In fact, I have 2 CPU on my OXE Alize : 1 Main and 1 Std-by (for redundancy) and I would like restore mao with automatic script with these steps :

1. Connect on CS Main (CS A) --> OK
2. Deactivate autostart and stop the telephone --> OK I found the command for my script ! This action cause a reboot without telephony service active (prompt E>) and a bascul of CS Main (CS A) which becomes Std-By
3. Connect on CS Std-by (CS A) --> NOK because I have choice to launch "bascul" command but the CS Main (CS B) will reboot or connect on CS Main (CS B)and from here connect on CS Std-by (CS A) but I have 2 possibilities of connection : CS A or CS B and I don't know how to choose the good connection
4. Restore mao --> OK I found the command for my script !
5. Restore OPS --> OK I found the command for my script !
6. Reactivate autostart and run telephone --> OK I found the command for my script !
7. Connect on CS Main (CS B) --> OK
8. Deactivate autostart and stop the telephone on CS B --> OK I found the command for my script ! This action cause a reboot without telephony service active (prompt E>) and a bascul of CS Main (CS A) which becomes Std-By
9. Cloning CPU on CS B (to have the same configuration as CS A) --> NOK, I don't find the command for my script ! If you have an idea ?
10. Reactivate autostart and run telephone on CS B --> OK I found the command for my script !

Thank you in advance for your answer !

Okay, sorry I was not so cleared for "3. Connect on CS Std-by (CS A)" :

Important facts are :
- I have to connect on CS Main to access to CS Std-by because I have to use Omnivista 4760 and you can just connect on CS Main
- When I was connected on CS Main, and I have to connect on CS Std-by with telnet or ssh IP address of CS Std-by, I would like to not enter the IP address of CS Std-by because it could be CS A or CS B --> is it exist a command as telnet (or ssh) twin

I hope I'm much clear now !

telnet twincpu but you must use expect for password.
rsh twincpu ?
4. Restore mao --> OK I found the command for my script !
5. Restore OPS --> OK I found the command for my script !
If you restore database, you restore also OPS.

telnet twincpu or ssh (rsh) twincpu is not working but I found how I can get the twin cpu address with grep de la commande twin sur 'twin cpu address"
