MLAA transfer to ACD, call management issues

Post by johnson_tiam »

Hi All,

i have a problem..
i found that when we use MLAA to transfer to ACD.
i cannot press star '*' to leave the queue which i configured at ACD call management.
it doesn't work, the greeting/announcement keep going when we press '*',
only heard about 1/4second silence, right when we press '*'
and the weird thing is when i go call directly to ACD itself. it is work.
the call management, for pressing star to leave the queue is works.
do you guys have any suggestion?
i have also delete all '*' prefix at public, restricted public and private dialing plan.
i don't know whether this is only happen on me, or anyone else too.
Please do advice.
Many Thank's

Best Regards,
Johnson

Hi Johnson, you may not like to hear this but we logged a fault with the excact same problem on R6.0 and on 6.1 I think it was 610.007.001? Sorry not sure. The case was open for over a month and the customer pulled the system out of their site so we never got a fix. It looks like it is still an issue or a regression. I suggest you log a e-sr as soon as possible.

HI, not sure if this will help but the SR# was 1-84281151 and a OS was created but the SR was closed when the customer pulled the system out :(
I suggest that when you log the fault you reference the SR # above. it may speed up the process. The notes from Alcatel support say it is easy to reproduce.
Remember that just because we can reproduce and Alcatel can reproduce dose not mean it is a bug  It may be normal working as they are concerned. :?

Can you please let me know how you get on.

yeah closed as no solution in over a month and as the customer pulled out the system the tech working on the job asked them to close it. He wasn't thinking ahead as he should have kept on at them to fix it then we and others like you would now not have an issue. he no longer works for us so I won't be able to hit him on the back of the head
Next time I'm talking to him I'll mention this though :D

Thanks for that, you must have been a little early for the fix and we were way to early for it. Good news for you is that at least your customer is on a version that won't require them to pay for a upgrade. :D
