Programming DTMF numbers...

Post by RussT »

Hi all,

Here's the situation ... basically I want to set up a speed dial which calls an extention (say 1111) and then dials the DTMF code (***) and then a preset number (12345). Is this possible?

I have tried but all it does it dial 1111 and then that's it. Is there a character for a pause or similar?

Thanks
Russ

I have had to do this a long time ago and t he only way was to set up an new ARS prefix, and then using Dialling command tables to complete the digits, DTMF and pause and then extra digits.... :D

Dialing commands is actually the only way to do that..
But it means that you have to use ARS.. I never tried to use ARS without a trunk number ..? To dial an inside number ... Let us know if it works !

If you use Trunkgroup -1 in the ARS route it will enable you to dial the internal number
