Dead Ports on Z32 Board

Post by tomso »

Over time we have lost several ports on our Z32 Board. Restarting the cpu's has not had an affect on reactivating them. Two of the ports that used to work fine, now have static on them and three other ports that used to work are completely dead. The completely dead ports occured after major thunderstorms. Is there a fuse on the Z32 Board or a command to run against a given port that would fix them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

One of the Z32 unit is an output stage for EMC and overvoltage protection.
There is a 3A fuse. I believe if it was not working anymore, then the full board would not work.

If the PBX is not very well grounded you will very likely have boards that fried after lightning.

There is no way to fix a bad port but to RMA the board back to Alcatel.
