4760i

Post by patmul39 »

I am trying to access the OXE via 4760i. Configuration with 4760 client and mgr is ok. Also, I have validated the flag in System (use of 4760i) yet when I try to connect it gives an error: connection failed.
I can telnet without problems. I have even configured the switch using 4730i! All the passwords are default and no security has been set-up yet. I did get this error on a few OXE's all with different SW versions. Any ideas?

Once you turn on the USE OF i4760 in system, you have to reboot.

Do you have 1 or 2 cpus ? If you have 2 , you must http into the MAIN IP

Once you go to the webpage, there is a link to install JAVA, and another link to setup the java security, click on the 2nd link, run the file, and try again

If it's still does not work, just reboot the PBX and try again, lol

Hi

I have exactly the same issue. Cannot connec to the OmniPCX enterprise either using the browser or omnivista client 4760. I suspect that the flag is not turned on as I haven't been lucky yet to get that far

What is MGR? How do you turn the flag on to allow access?

Thanks Niko

I got 4760i client working the first time I installed the software on my computer. For some reason, this software is no longer working, it keeps saying PCX interupted. I tried to re-install and still giving me the same connection issue once I keyed in the right username and password.

However if I installed the software on a fresh computer, it will work.

My computer is a windows xp with sp2. What can I do to get it working again?

Thanks!

Sec
