Post by Split »

I´m searching for a possibility to chance the Message on the Display if the user has activated "Do not Disturb" in Absent. There are any Documents? I use the Search Function , but without success may be i am searching the wrong words

Hi,

i am not sure about that, but try this one:

mgr
Specific Telephone Services
Pre-programmed Message
Apology Messages (in your Language)

Complete Message 1 (English Default is "In a meeting, please do not disturb")

Good Luck!

hi egrep

thanks für help i will try this tomorrow but ich think this is not the solution for my problem, This message are pre-programmed and i can chance this ok but than the user must forward to this Text message.

in the Oxe there are a Prefix for Do not distrub:

Review/Modify: Prefix Plan

Node Number (reserved) : 1
Instance (reserved) : 1
Number : *32

Prefix Meaning + Set features
Station Features + Do not disturb

May be there are a file where i can chance the Display Message for "Do not distrub"

This message is normally stored in /usr3/str/EN0_STR or XXX_STR where XXX is the language used in system.
If my memory is good, you are a tool to edit strings in the software distribution or in the BPWS.
You can also edit this file (make a copy before) with vi, but in any upgrade or software reloading, this modification is lost.

But remember, every time you do an upgrade of system or patch a new STR file is written and you will nedd to apply your changes again plus a reboot.
