My Phone and PIN Code

Hi,

Last week I did an OTUC installation and My Phone had a weird problem. When tried to make calls with PIN code it didn't work. I checked OTS Pbx plannum and the Personal prefix was not listed. The customer was using ARS Personal Trunk with Overlaping. OTS kept saying that prefix didn't exist in the numbering plan, however it identified it.

I opened a case into Alcatel and this is what i was told:

MyPhone with PIN only works if you use:
Personal Trunk Group Seizure.

Doesn't work nor with any overlaping or any ARS.

This is not documented anywhere, so i thought it was worthy to post it somewhere in case somebody needed it.
